Pharmacy Rush was built by me and a team in my second year of university. The NHS approached the university with a brief of the game and a team was made of 3 programmers and 6 artists.

 

There are two gamemodes, "ward" and "dispensary". In the ward gamemode the player will be faced with fast appropriate desicion making and un-expected blockages. In the dispensary gamemode the player will face a huge workload and alot of accurate information proccessing.

I had the delight of being the gameplay programmer for the ward gamemode. This included player controls, patients, pills, bloodtests and a little UI programming.

Alongside my studies, i worked with my team and the NHS, over the course of 12 months to bring the clients ideas to fruition. The main goal of this project was to create and educational yet engaging experience to inspire future pharmacists by creating an environment fast paced whilst challenging your attention to detail and mimic the hospital setting.
